Our classes and workshops bring that mission to life through partnerships with local instructors and professionals who are also parents and active members of our community.

Up to 9 months
This class is intended for caregivers and their infants up to 9 months. Bond with your baby and connect with other parents. Learn how to use music to soothe, support routine, and communicate with your baby. Class is filled with songs to keep your baby swaying, stretching and smiling. The class is also therapeutic for parents through discussion and music. Great opportunity to meet other caregivers who are in a similar stage of life.

Up to 6 years old
Ms. Dalia is a mom, educator, and community builder who loves sharing Spanish through songs, stories, and play. By day, she work with Chicago Public Schools supporting bilingual programs, and by heart, she is passionate about helping kids grow up biliterate and proud of their culture. Classes are designed to make Spanish fun, engaging, and meaningful for children and families.

Up to 6 years old
This classes for toddlers and their caregiver. Children will love singing, dancing, playing simple percussion instruments & connecting with the world around them! Activities include simple songs and rhymes, instrument playing, lap bounces, fingerplays, movement exploration, scarves, parachute and bubbles! Class promotes parent child bonding, socialization, language development, listening & following directions & most importantly, FUN!

For the Parents
Carina Lane is a bilingual and bicultural licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families. Her background spans pediatric health care, high-quality dual language early childhood programs, and child welfare. Carina specializes in perinatal mental health and couples therapy, and consults with organizations to strengthen advocacy, home visiting, and early childhood mental health systems.
A mom of two little people and wife to a military veteran from NWI, Carina is passionate about fostering mindful, connected parenting. Through MindfulStarts, she empowers families to approach parenthood with confidence, compassion, and emotional awareness.

For the Parents
James Wasmundt is financial representative and a community member. This is a free monthly class created to help parents gain the knowledge and confidence to build a stronger financial future for their families. Each month, James will lead practical, easy-to-follow workshops that break down important topics like budgeting, building and understanding credit, choosing the right life insurance, saving for your child’s future, and creating lasting generational wealth.
